Islamic History

• The Holy Prophet was born in Makkah, Saudi Arabia on 12th Rabi-ul-Awal, 570 AD.
• Holy Prophet's birth year was important for 3 reasons:

  1: Zamzam well was restored.

  2: The Holy Kabah was attacked by Abraha, the king of Yemen; with the force of 200 elephants and was destroyed by God.

  3: The fireplace of Persia, which has been burning for a thousand years, was put off.
• Event of Shaq-us-Sadar:

  Angel Jibrael and Angel Mikael came and took the baby Prophet from a group of children and laid him on the ground. Then opened his chest with a dagger and cut the Satan's beak on top of the heart with Ab-e-Zamzam
• Holy Prophet's grandfather, Hazrat Abdul Muttalib, named the Holy Prophet, "Muhammad"
• "Muhammad" means "One who is worthy of worship
• Abdul Muttalib said,"I have named him Muhammad so that his name may be praised on the earth and in the heavens."
• Abu Bakar father's name was Usman
• Usman, the father, was surnamed Abu Qahafa
• Abu Bakars mother was Salma
• Salma, the mother,was surnamed Ummul Khair
• Holy Prophet's and Abu Bakars common ancestor: Murra
• Abdul Kabah was one of Abu Bakar title
• Abu Bakar was also present at the house of Abdullah bin Judan
• Abu Bakar was the first free male to accept Islam
• After Abu Bakars conversion to Islam, the Holy Prophet named him Abdullah
• Hazrat Bilal was freed by Hazrat Abu Bakar
