  • originally aimed at members of church but then encouraged them to bring friends and neighbours to the church
• What was the aim of the Alpha Course?

  • set up to tackle a fall in church attendance by sharing a meal and listened to aspects of the christian faith
  • aimed to persuade people to 'buy into' Christianity
