  • Both plant and animal tissue is composed of cells.

  • Turgor pressure is pressure created by water which keeps the plant cells swollen and rigid.
  • Magnification: The number of times larger the image is compared to the size of the actual object.
  • Resolution: The ability to see two objects as separate entities and the ability to see detail.
  • Diffraction is the bending of light as it passes close to the edge of an object. It causes the light waves to spread out and overlap each other.

    This can distort the image making it blurry.
