• Trapezoid- quadrilateral with exactly one pair of opposite sides parallel
• Trapezium- quadrilateral with no pair of parallel sides
• Kite- quadrilateral with two distinct pairs of adjacent congruent sides.
• Special parallelogram- square, rhombus and rectangle
• Squares - parallelogram with 4 congruent sides and 4 right angles
• Rectangle - parallelogram with 4 right angles
