Raw Data

• Raw data are data collected in an investigation and they are not organized systematically.
• Raw data that are presented in the form of a frequency distribution are called group data.
• Methods of organizing the raw data: Array and Stem and Leaf Diagram.
• Array - it is an ordering of the observations from smallest to the largest or vice versa.
• Stem and Leaf Diagram - gives a good overall impression of the data.
