    sleep symbolises peace and like a "balm to hurt minds" presenting sleep perhaps as something that's healing and brings a form of redemption to the mind which is further emphasized when Macbeth talks about "scorpions" in his "mind" reinforcing the idea that Macbeth is fully sleep deprived and lacks peace, "sleep no more" he will forever be emotionally troubled and unstable- "Macbeth does murder sleep"- sleep=peace= the king is peace hammering in his undoubted belief in the Divine right of kings: the belief that kings were ordained by God and only the divinely ordained king will rule and bring peace to the land contrasting Macbeths benevolent rule

    "instruments if darkness"- witches worked for the devil- darkness being associated with the devil.
    "dark and deep desires"- evil thoughts
    "come steeling night"- when Macbeth wanted to kill Banquo- hiss darkness shows his loss of morality- he is now associated with the devil
    "angel are bright still, though the brightness fell- lucifer- even the good people can eventually become bad

    "will all great Neptune's ocean wash this blood clean from my hands"- he is taking full responsibility.- blame-action

    "bloody execution"- natural part of Macbeth's character- he has always been a blood thirsty man- the only thing that changed was his moral compass around his violence.- the acceptability of his violence
