  • Forbidden goods:
    • non-safety matches
    • refillable lighters
    • refills for hydrocarbon hair curlers/ straighteners
    • disabling agents
  • Notoc = notification to captain as to what dangerous goods are on board
  • Signs if dangerous goods: hot spots, smells, escaping gas sound
  • Drill:
    NIMPI
    Notify - captain and FSM
    Identify - ask passenger and take a picture of label
    Move - passengers away
    Protect - vinyl gloves and fire gloves, maybe SH, stop leak
    Isolate - place in plastic bag, expel air, place upright in another bag, put gloves in, wipe with dry towels, put in cardboard box and put in toilet
  • Reporting:

    CDL
    within 72 hours
  • Include in OR passenger name, home address and original seat number
