  • Role of Police and Judiciary Against Extremism:
    1. Of the 354 murders committed by the right-wing from 1919 to 1922, 326 went unpunished. Only 1 person was given a life sentence
    2. Of the 22 murders committed by the left-wing between 1919 and 1922, only 4 went unpunished. 10 people were given death sentences and 3 were given life sentences
    3. Left-wing assassinations were not thoroughly investigated, but right-wing judges, including Georg Neithardt, pursued inquiries and trials against left-wing groups
