  Ebert asked the Freikorps to help

  • the Freikorps were the unofficial right-wing army who hated the communists

  the Freikorps got rid of rioters on the street and killed the leaders, Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht - ending the rebellion

  however, the Freikorps don't stop - they want to kill all the communists
• for 3 months after the uprising, the Freikorps went and killed a lot of communists - Ebert couldn't control them
