epithelial tissues

• The simple epithelia consist of a single layer of closely packed epithelial cells that provide protective covering over surfaces of internal organs, blood vessels, and the lining of alimentary canals.
• squamous epithelium is found in the mouth, oesophagus, blood vessels, alveoli.it is thin, flat and small forms semipermeable memebrane.it does tranportation of selective substances .
• stratified epithelium is made of many layers of cells and is on the outer layer of the skin. it is used for the prevention of wearing of organs and protection of organs
• Glandular epithelium’s cell contains vesicles packed with secretory materials such as sweat ,mucus ,oil etc.it is in the inner layer of the skin .
