Sex, gender, and sexuality

• Sex is the biological difference between males and females, and is determined by the presence or absence of a Y chromosome.
• Gender is a social construct that is based on the socially constructed roles of men and women.
• Hermaphroditism difficult to classify or identify baby's sex.
• Heteronormativity is determining the normality of a behaviour based on wether ot conforms or set the expectations based on biological sex.
• Gender is how you describe or sense your self.
• Sexuality describes who you are attracted to.
• Transgender: denoting or relating to a person whose gender identity does not correspond with the sex registered for them at birth.
• Sexual orientation emotional and sexual attraction to a person.
• According to Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP) we develop attraction at ages 6-8.
• Heterosexual people who are attracted to opposite sex.
• Homosexual attracted to same sex.
• Bisexual attracted to both sexes
• Bisexual attracted to both men and women.
