Refining the Image

• #1 Once the specimen is in focus with the low power objective, you can switch to a higher power objective lens if needed.
• #2 Use only the fine adjustment knob to bring the specimen into sharp focus under the higher magnification.
• #3 Adjust the diaphragm or condenser to optimize the amount of light on the specimen for clarity.
