• politicians were assassinated

  • Hugo Haasse, 1919 - Ebert's party
  • Matthias Erzberger, 1921 - signed surrender
  • Walther Rathenau, 1922 - Weimer Foreign Minister
  • Plus another 370 politicians - left wing

  presumably right wing did this as not a single member was killed - non of the murderers were convicted or executed but 10 left wing assassins were (courts and judges = right wing) - politicians hired ex-soldiers for defence in meetings
