  • After, in Act 2 Scene 3, Romeo asks Friar Lawrence to marry him to Juliet. The friar conveys a message that young love is commonly based on looks. He agrees only to end the family feud.
  • Then, in Act 3, Scene 1, Romeo and Tybalt meet on the street and is challenged (by Tybalt) to fight. He doesn't because Tybalt is now his cousin-in-law. Tybalt fights with Mercutio and kills Mercutio. Angry Romeo kills Tybalt in a fight and regrets his decision.
  • Then, In Act 3 Scene 5, mourning Juliet receives news that she will marry Paris, from her father who thinks it will make her happy. Juliet gets upset, and her father threatens to disown her; she runs to Friar Lawrence for help.
  • Suddenly, in Act 4 Scene 1, Juliet tells the friar she will commit suicide if he doesn't come up with a plan. He tells her that he will give her a potion to fake her death, he will message Romeo about the plan, and will take her out of the tomb to live with Romeo.
  • In Act 5 Scene 1, Balthasar reaches Mantua before the Friar's messenger and tells Romeo that Juliet is dead. Romeo buys a deadly potion and goes to Juliet's tomb.
  • Finally in Act 5 Scene 3, Romeo winds in a fight with Paris and kills him. He kisses Juliet, drinks the potion, and dies. Juliet soon wakes up to see him dead and stabs herself to death. The feud between the two families ends, and peace has been restored.
