  • What did Baddeley and Hitch suggest in 1974?
    Baddeley and Hitch criticised the MSM for being too simplistic. They argued that the STM is more complex than being a temporary store for transferring information to the LTM. They said the STM is an active store , holding several pieces of information while they are being worked on. They developed the working memory model.
