    a rank or position that someone holds in society

    identity is how we see ourselves and how others see us. it's formed by our life experiences and people we surround ourselves with.

    these enforce norms and can be positive or negative.

    expected way of behaving e.g son should respect parents
  • what is cultural diversity?
    the term used to describe differences between human cultures
  • what is culture?
    the way of life of a particular group of people. it includes norms, values, as well as language, religion, food, fashion and arts
  • what are norms?
    unwritten informal rules about how someone should behave in a certain situation
  • what are values?
    ideas or beliefs that people have about what is desirable or worth striving for
