    Novice Performer: Lack consistency, can demonstrate control

    Skilled performer: very efficient with technique, energy preservation and skill selection
    Novice performer: low efficiency, inaccurate technique will result in lower accuracy and energy loss

    Skilled performer: very smooth, able to seamlessly link skills in performance patterns
    Novice performer: due to lower ability and lack of training, performance is erratic amongst novice performers
