Dominant
allele - allele that is always expressed even when 1 copy is present
Recessive
allele - only expressed if there are 2 copies (bb)
Heterozygous
is when an inherited allele is dominant and the other is recessive
Homozygous
is when both alleles are equal, either 2 dominant or 2 recessive

is the combination of alleles, for example, Bb
