Lymphatic system

• lymph capillaries ( absorb excess lymph fluid ) merge into lymph vessels which have valves
• lymph fluid carried in one direction - away from tissue
• lymph drains into veins near heat to enter the blood
• along lymph vessels are series of lymph nodes which produce lymphocytes
