  • AMS in Scotland essentially gives Scottish people 8 representatives in Scottish Parliament. It prevents them from being able to properly hold MSPs to account as they can all very easily shift the blame to another
  • AMS is fairer to all parties due to it being a form of proportional representation, giving parties a better chance to win seats.
    In 2016, there was a maximum of 5% difference between the votes received and MSPs returned
