B2.1 Cell Division

• Stage 1 of Cell Cycle is the replication of DNA to form two copies of chromosome and synthesis of ribosomes
• Stage 2 of the cell cycle is mitosis: one set of chromosomes is pulled to each end of the cell and the nucleus divides into two nuclei
• Stage 3 is the stage where cytoplasm and cell membranes divide to form two identical cells
