  • Keratin is a protein that lines the inside and outside the body. It also helps form hair, nails and your skin's outer layer (Epidermis).
  • Dermis are composed of dense collagenous connective tissue and loose connective tissue.

  • Subcutaneous tissue a.k.a. "Hypodermis" an adipose tissue in the subcutaneous tissue functions as padding and insulation.
  • Cyanosis is an impaired circulatory/ respiratory function.
  • Cyanosis is a bluish color in the skin, lips, and nail beds caused by a shortage of oxygen in the blood.
  • Malignant Melanoma a rare form of skin cancer that arises from melanocytes. Can appear as large, flat, spreading lesion or deep pigmented nodule.
