• A Geometric sequence is a sequence of numbers that are multiplied by the same number each time

  
  

  e.g. 1,2,4,8,16...
• A Fibonacci sequence is a sequence of numbers that is the sum of the two previous numbers.

  
  

  e.g. 3,4,7,11,18...
• A Quadratic sequence is a sequence of numbers where the gaps increase/decrease by the same amount each time

  
  

  e.g. 1,3,7,13,21...
• A Linear sequence is a sequence of numbers that increase/decrease by the exact same number each time
