Global circulation system

• Air cools and sinks, creating a belt of high preasure and a cold, dry climate
• At about 60 degrees north and south, cold polar air mixes with warmer air and rises, creating a belt of low preasure
• Cool air sinks, creating a belt of high preasure. As the air sinks it becomes warmer and dryer
• Warm air rises, creating a belt of low preasure. As theair rises, it cools. Clouds form and then releases precipitation. Above the air will eventually seperate and move to higher altitudes
• at the equator the suns heat is concentrated
• At the poles the suns heat is spread out
