• • because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.” Romans 1:26-27.
• • “If a man lies with a man as he does with a woman, both have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death, their blood is upon them”. Leviticus 20:13.
• When discussing marriage, Jesus claims it is between a man and a woman.

• book of Leviticus also appears to describe homosexuality as ‘an abomination’  according to the Catholic historian and theologian John Boswell the Hebrew word ‘toevah’ does not, when it is deployed, usually describe actions that are intrinsically evil, like rape or theft it was not the physical violation of Levitical precepts which constituted ‘abomination’ but the interior infidelity of the soul’
