Why is there a lack of representation

• There is a lack of representation in US politics because there is a lot of racism, Islamophobia, Misogyny, and anti-immigration strains
• People accusing ethnic minorities to be apart of terrorist groups
• Omar was the first woman of colour to represent Minnesota
• Omar experienced anti-semitic comments, death threats and was accused of supporting Al-Qaeda
