Body Composition assessment results can be used to identify risks, personalize your exercise program, or assess how well your current exercise and nutrition program is working for you.
Measuring and Evaluating Body Composition
Weight is not nearly as important in terms of overall health as the composition of that weight. More importantly, rather than keeping track of our weight, we should keep track of our body composition.
Body Mass Index (BMI) is a figure derived from a person's weight and height. For most people, BMI is a fairly reliable indicator of body fatness. Although BMI does not directly measure body fat, research has shown that it correlates with direct measures of body fat.
Waist Circumference measurement provides information about the
increased risk of obesity-related illness due to the location of excess fat.
Skinfold Body Fat Measurement provide direct estimates of subcutaneous fat.
Fitness Exercise Assessment determines your current fitness levels and
serves as a starting point for your body's fitness. You can use this
fitness assessment to determine your training requirements and
goals. Then you compare your progress over time to the initial
fitness evaluation.
Fitness Assessment
A test or measurement that
is completed in order to obtain fitness or health
information.
Fitness Assessment
It can be biometric (related to the body) or assess
current fitness levels.
Fitness Assessment
Questionnaires can be used as an assessment tool
to gather personal information or additional health
data.
Fitness Assessment
Put one or more fitness components to the test. Cardiorespiratory
endurance (also known as aerobic fitness), muscular strength, muscular endurance (muscular strength and endurance are sometimes combined into muscular fitness), flexibility, and body composition are the various components of fitness.
Fitness Assessment
Include tests for balance, stability, mobility, and other sports or
performance skills such as power or agility.

Fitness Assessments Important
Assessments serve as a baseline measurement that can use to compare results over a period of time.
Fitness Assessment Important
Plan an exercise program based on results.
Fitness Assessment Important
Address mobility, stability, strength, endurance, or balance results that may increase the risk of injury.

Fitness Performance Test
The stated goals of the training and conditioning program, tests may be used to assess flexibility, muscular strength, muscular endurance,
muscular power, cardiorespiratory endurance, speed, balance, agility, or quickness.
TEST FOR CARDIO-RESPIRATORY ENDURANCE
Step Test is used to assess an individual's aerobic fitness. Participants stepped up and down, on and off an aerobics-style step for THREE MINUTES to increase heart rate and assess the heart's recovery rate during the minute immediately following the step test exercise.
Muscular Endurance
differs from muscular strength in that it assesses endurance, or the ability to complete a number of repetitions of an exercise rather than just one.
Muscular Fitness
is sometimes defined as a combination of muscular strength and muscular endurance.
The push-up test is used to test the endurance of the upper body,
primarily the upper arm (triceps), chest (pectoralis), and shoulders
(deltoid). Men complete the test with their toes on the ground and
women complete the test modified with their knees on the ground.
Flexibility
The sit and reach test is the most common way to measure lower back and hamstring flexibility.
