• Appreciation of art depends on personal preference related to aesthetics, form of art, elements and principles of design, and social and cultural acceptance
• Subject in art refers to the visual focus or the image that may be extracted from examining the artwork
• Content in art refers to the meaning that is communicated by the artist or the artwork
• Form in art refers to the development and configuration of the artwork on how the elements and the medium are put together
• Medium in art is the means by which an artist communicates his ideas and the materials used to interpret his feelings/thoughts
• Creativity in art sets apart one artwork from another, embracing originality and putting a unique flavor into the work
• Imagination in art goes beyond norms, giving birth to reality through creation, and inspiring imagination
• Art expression is not to induce emotion but to express it through various forms such as visual arts, film, performance art, poetry performance, architecture, dance, literary arts, theater arts, and applied arts
