Subluxing/dislocating tendons

• Causes:

  • Superficial peroneal retinacular tear
  • Shallow convex fibular groove - tendons can slip out
• Signs and Symptoms:

  • Retro-malleolar pain
  • Painful click
  • Visible subluxation with eversion
