  • Street dance is a dance form that began in urban open spaces, such as yards, streets, parks, and night clubs.
  • Ballet is both a dance and theatre art. There are 3 reiterations of the ballet form, namely: modern ballet, opera ballet, and folkloric ballet
  • Modern ballet uses traditional techniques and styles set to contemporary ideas.
    Opera ballet, and its more modern version called rock ballet. This type of ballet combines dance and song.
    Folkloric ballet is a performance that presents subjects and themes based on the art and culture of a community music
  • Theater is defined as a fine art where actors or actresses perform experiences, whether real or imagined, in front of an audience
  • Many consider theatre the ultimate art form because it is a collaborative art form
  • Absurd theatre deliberately exaggerates events and situations, often portraying characters as stereotypes
  • Stage Show, also known as bodabil, presents various acts and performances such as comedy skits, circus acts, musical and dance numbers, acrobatics, and magic shows

  • Sculptures are artworks that are three-dimensional. There are two classifications of sculptures: free-standing and relief.
  • Free-Standing Sculpture - can be viewed from all sides; it stands on its own without any support
  • Relief Sculpture - sculptures that are raised from the background. It can also be classified as low relief/bas relief or high relief.
  • Low Relief (Bas Relief) - shallow carving where figures appear to project slightly outward from the surface they are carved into
  • High Relief - deep carving where figures stand out prominently from the surface they are carved into
