There are around 7000 chemicals in a cigarette
When is tar produced?
Tar is produced when tobacco burns.
What is tar?
A sticky black substance that irritates the airway
What medical condition does tar cause?
Cancer
Nicotine is a very addictive drug that is found in tobacco products. When you smoke, the nicotine goes straight to the brain.
What is nicotine? 
A stimulant
What does nicotine increase?
Heart rate and blood pressure.
What is passive smoking?
Inhaling secondhand smoke.
What happens if you smoke while pregnant?
Birth defects such as premature birth and still birth
What’s the alveoli? 
Air sacs in the lungs where gas exchange occurs.
