    Nigeria is in west Africa, bordering four countries. It extends from the gulf of Guinea in the south to Sahel in the north.

    supply's 2.7% of the worlds oil and is the 12 largest producer of oil. It was the 21st largest economy in the world in 2014. It has developed a diverse economy including financial services, telecommunications and media. It is the 5th largest contributor to UN global peace keeping missions.

    It has the highest GDP in the continent. It is one of the fastest growing economy's in Africa. It has the highest farm output in Africa. 70% of the population is employed in agriculture. It has huge potential but it is held back by poor roads.

    The north is semi-desert. Under is a tropical grassland which is used for grazing cattle and crops such as cotton are grown here. The Jos Plateau- An upland region which is wetter and cooler than the surrounding savannah but it is densely populated with farmland and some woodland. In the south there is high temperatures and high annual rainfall and it is mainly forest but also inhibits crops like cocoa but it is very hard to keep cattle here because of the teste fly.
