Exponents
A power is a way of showing repeated multiplication
Exponents
A power consists of a base and exponent, the bases is the number you multiply.
3^5 the exponent how many times you multiply the number
Example: 3x3x3x3x3
when you multiply two numbers with the same, base, you add the exponents together
example: 2^5 x 2^4 = 2^(5+4)=2^9
when you divide two numbers with the Same base. you Subtract the exponents from each other
example: 2^5 ÷ 2^3 = 2^(5-3)= 2^2
when you have an exponent raised to another exponent you multiply the exponents
example: (3^2)³= 3^(2 x 3) = 3^6

Surveys
Survey questions Should be worded so they are free from factors that may result in Influencing factors causing an influenced decision
Bias:
this means we need to be careful to ask questions in a way that doesn't make people feed like they have to answer a certain way. honest answers/ responses are what we want example/tip: avoid giving your personal opinion
Languages:
We need to make sure the questions don't use offensive terms and use simple enough terms most people should know
ethics:
we have to be fair and honest when collecting data, making sure not to challenge, someone's morals and make sure not to make people uncomfortable.
Cost: Sometimes it costs money to run a survey or to even partake in a survey so we must take that into account when collecting data
Time : it takes time to ask people questions so we must make sure we have enough time to get accurate results. when doing/creating a Survey
Privacy: when doing a survey we must hees every one's answers private from the public when answering to ensure Safety and honesty
Cultural sensitivity:
We need to make sure the languages and questions we use are respectful to all cultures and
makes sure not to offend anyone
Collecting Data/ways to collect data population:
a population, all of the people the Survey is about and may affect or in a designated area
Samples: a Sample is a smaller group of the population as a Substitute instead of a population
Convenience: a Sample of the population asked the questions to the survey due to their timing or convenience
voluntary: a sample of the population asked the questions to the Survey due to their will to do the survey, So they get to choice if they'd like to participate or not
Random: a Sample of the population asked the questions to the Survey decided by a random way still giving everyone a fair chance though example: random generator or names in a hat
Stratified: a Sample of the population divided into groups like; boys and girls and then ask an equal percentage of each group
Systematic: this is a sample of the population asked the survey question at fixed intervals from a list of the population example : every 5th person in a line
on linear graphs you can interpolate values in between the known values, remember Interpolate has the word "IN" meaning its withIN the known values
on linear graphs you can extrapolate values beyond the known values, remember EXTRApolate has the word extra" meaning it's extra values beyond the known values
you can graph linear relations using an equations, use the equation to make a table of values and graph the coordinate pairs and it'll form a straight line
