  • Gnostic Docetism- did not have a real or natural body but only an apparent one
  • Arianism- A heresy led by arius, a priest and a false teacher in the early fourth century AD in alexandria, Egypt, who stated jesus is less than a god but more than a man
  • Nestorianism- put forth by Nestorius, Archbishop of Constantinople. It stressed the independence of the divine and human natures of Christ.
  • Monophysitism- this is a heresy that asserted that in the person of jesus christ, there was only one, divine nature.
  • Heresy- belief or opinion contrary to the accepted teachings; false teachings
