Electrochemical Cells

• Two Half Cells:

  • Two different metals
  • Separated by an electrolyte
  • Connected by wires, which electrons can flow
  • Ion-bridge to complete the circuit
• Electrolyte:

  • Electrically conducting solution containing ions
