    • high resolution = increased quality
    • bit map - name for image made up of pixels
    • PPI - pixels per inch - on screen display

    Social media is an form of electronic communication that enables users to share ideas, content, information, and messages

  • Watermark: an image, overlay, or text that is placed over a digital asset. Usually, the image will be monochromatic and transparent, allowing others to still view the asset. It protects the content and claims ownership.

  • Sound can create meaning. It can make the audience experience a certain emotion. sharp notes and clashing notes can create a creepy atmosphere. lighter, more happy notes can create a happy atmosphere.
  • Lighting/special effects are used for a unique colour and visual impact on areas of a venue that the light designer wants to shift the audience's focus to.

  • Frame rate - frames per second: the speed at which the images are shown. how fast you "flip" through the book. it is how many frames are squeezed into one second of footage. High FPS gives a smoother image that is more realistic and more immersive
