• SOCIAL SUPPORT - sharing of trauma experiences
• COPING CONFIDENCE - believing that you can do it
• HOPE - optimism, belief in God
• NATURAL DISASTER - ex: earthquakes, floods, landslides, etc.
• MAN MADE DISASTER - war, bomb blast, chemical leaks, etc.
• GEOLOGICAL HAZARD - ground and land formations
• ATMOSPHERIC HAZARD - tropical cyclones, tornadoes, droughts, lightning…
• OTHER NATURAL HAZARDS - insect infestations, disease epidemics, wildfires
• CATASTROPHIC HAZARD - small chance of appearing but devastating results
• RAPID ONSET HAZARD - gave a little warning and strike rapidly
• SLOW ONSET HAZARD - drought, disease epidemics
• ANTHROPOGENIC HAZARD - occur as a result of human interaction
