• Secure attachment was most common. Great Britain (75%), China (50%).
• Individualistic countries e.g. Germany had high levels of anxious avoidants (35%) whereas Japan (5%) and Israel (7%) showed low levels
• Great Britain (3%), Sweden (4%) showed low levels of resistant attachments such as Israel had high levels of resistant attachment (29%)
• Variations between results of studies within same country were 150% greater than those between countries suggesting we need to look between countries.
