  • Tendon connects bone and muscle, consists of strong and flexible fibres.
  • Ligament connects bone to bone at the joints, providing support snd strength and allowing bone to bend, consists of strong and elastic connective tissue bundles.
  • Skeletal muscle consists of muscle fibre bundles, nerves snd blood vessels. The muscles are antagonistic and act in opposite directions, one contracting when the other relaxes. Ex: biceps and triceps.
