importance of mrna and tnra

Cards (4)

    • Both mRNA and tRNA are important in polypeptide synthesis
    • in the cytoplasm without tRNA, the codons of the mRNA could not be interpreted through attachment of the tRNA anticodon which carries a specific amino acid to allow translation
    • without the mRNA, the DNA code carried within the gene would not be copied and transferred out of the nucleus to ribosomes during transcription in the nucleus
    • Therefore, without mRNA and tRNA, a gene that codes for a specific polypeptide could not be expressed.
