• During exercise the heart rate of smokers increases more than the heart rate of non smokers. Design an investigation to test this

  • Use two groups of smokers and non smokers
  • Let there be at least 5 in each group
  • Things like age,gender and physical activity level should be kept same for control
  • Measure each persons heart rate before
  • Get each person to perform jumping jacks for the same amount of time
  • Measure their heart rate after and calculate the increase
  • Compare the change in each group
