• Environmental changes affect distribution of organisms, changing where an organism lives
• What are the three types of environmental change?

  • Change in availability of water
  • Change in temperature
  • Change in atmospheric gases
• Water on Earth is constantly recycled
• The water cycle:

  • Energy from the Sun evaporated water into water vapour, as well as evaporating from plants (transpiration)
  • Warm water vapour condenses as it rises and forms clouds
  • Water falls as precipitation into land providing fresh water
  • The water drains into the sea
