• Photosynthesis uses carbon dioxide to produce sugar and oxygen

  • Relationship: high carbon dioxide create more oxygen
• Light intensity - chloroplasts undergo cyclosis to maximize light absorption

  • Relationship: increase in light intensity increases the rate of photosynthesis
  • Photobleaching - too much light breaks down chlorophyll
• Chlorophyll pigments aid in photosynthesis

  • Relationship: the more pigment, the more capacity for photosynthesis
• Order of polarity (pigments; lowest to highest)
