  • Homonymy: words that sound the same and spelled the same but different meaning (i like… - it’s like..)
  • Polysemy: The multiple meanings of a word but more metaphorical (the foot of the table, foot of my dad)
  • Agent: entity that carries out the action of the verb
  • Experiencer: Entity that undergoes an Emotion
  • Instrument: carries ot the action
  • Goal: final destination (ziel)
  • Source: direction from with the action originates
  • Theme: entity that receives action of verb but cannot experience emotion
  • Location: where action of verb takes place
  • Benefactive: entity that receives a concrete or abstract element as a result of the action
