the 130 ships sailed in a crescent shape the ships were spotted in Cornwall on 29 July and beacons were lit the Spanish arrived in France on 6 August for soldiers but the soldiers were delayed. Sir Francis Drake used fire ships against the Spanish ships they were scared and scattered ending in most of them heading to the north sea a storm surge happened and most died but some staggered on the shores of Scotland and Ireland
