  • The physical environment includes:atmosphere hydrosphere lithosphere biosphere
  • What is the hydro sphere?
    Water on Earth.
  • What is the lithosphere?
the lithosphere is a solid layer of rock that forms the earths surface
  • What is the atmosphere?
the atmosphere is the layer of gases and tiny particles that surround the earth.
  • What is the biosphere?
The biosphere is the part of the Earth where living organisms exist, including the land, water, and atmosphere.
  • What is human geography ?
Study of human activities in the built environment.
  • What are the four geographical concepts ?
    space,environment,place,scale
  • What is space?

space refers to a physical area on the earths surface.
  • What is a spatiaI pattern?

Individual geographical features arranged across an area in a particular way.
  • What is place?

    A specific location or area.
  • what is environment?
The physical and built environments and the processes that result from human actions.
  • What is scale ?
the detail at which geographers study something.
  • What is a map scale?
it is the relationship between a distance in a map and the actual distance on the ground
  • What is a time scale?
a period of time which smth happens
  • The four geographical scales are: local, regional, national, and global.
  • What is a resource ?
a material identified by people to be useful
  • What is a natural resource?
    useful materials found on earth
  • what Is a natured centred view?
The physical environment with natural resources is valuable.thus the physical environment should be preserved
  • What is latitude ?

Distance north or south of the equator.
  • What is longtitude?
Longitude measures distance east or west of the prime meridian.
  • How to create a more sustainable environment?

This is because when a renewable resources is used, its availability is reduce. At the same time, natural processes continually occur to replenish the resource. Hence, its availability is increased again after some time.
  • What is a non renewable natural resource?
Materials that may or may not be replenished naturally. If they are replenished, then the natural processes occur very slowly and takes such a long time that it is beyond the period used. As such, their availability is limited.
  • What is a human centred view?
in the human centred view, the physical environment is valuable bc humabs can obtain materials from it for their use and benefit. Such extraction of natural resources and negatively impact the physical environment.
