Robert koch

• Robert Koch was a scientist from Germany. He was like Pasteur in many ways –

  ambitious, quarrelsome and jealous of his rivals. Pasteur and Koch became great personal

  rivals. This rivalry was increased because France and Germany were at war at this Ɵme.

  Each wanted to out-do the other; this spurred them both on to make further discoveries.
