  Attempts to demonstrate the existence and nature of God through the use of the powers of human reason.

  contrasts with revealed theology which is a reflection on the content of what is believed to have been shown to humanity by God.
• What is revealed theology important for?

  Could give people truths they would've never worked out on their own, such as truths about life after death and the saving power of Jesus
