One of the femalefatal that can turn men into swine or animals. She becomes Odysseus' lover for ayear, and gives him instructions for upcoming challenges when he departs.

Sea nymph. She holds Odysseus captive for seven years, sleeping with him, hoping to marry him. She release Odysseus after Zeus's order.

One of the two chief suitors. Worst character with physically aggressive. He hurled a chair to beggar Odysseus.

One of the two chief suitors. Smooth talker who persuade Penelope.
Eurymachus
The first person who welcomes Odysseus in Ithaca. He's a loyal swineherd that help beggar Odysseus without recognizing him.
Eumaeus
The princess of Phaeacian. Daughter of king Alcinous and queen Arete. She finds Odysseus naked when he washes ashore on Phaeacia.
Nausicaa
Queen of Phaeacia, wife of king Alcinous and mother of princess Nausicaa.
Arete
King of Phaeacia. He greatly perform xenia to Odysseus when he stopped at this nation. The whole journey of Odysseus was revealed here to the king.
Alcinous
Cannibal one eye giant. Cyclops son of God of the sea Poisedon. He's also a sheep herder. He cursed Odysseus journey to belong and exhausting, punished by his father.
Polyphemus.
One of the crewman, who broke his neck falling from Circe's tower. He begs Odysseus to return to Circe's Island and give his body a proper burial.
Elpenor.
The blind seer of Thebes, he meets Od in the land of the Dead. He warns Od about upcoming dangers, offer advices, and foretells a later life.
Teiresias
He used to be commander of Greek army. He was murdered by hiswife- Clytemnestra and her lover- Aegisthus after coming back from the war. He warn Od to suspicious Penelope's loyalty.
Agamemnon
A loyal trained dog of Odysseus. He recognized his master and then died right after due to old age and sickness.
Argos
Father of Odysseus. Old king live humbly and in solitude on a smallfarm where he mourns the absence of his son.
Laertes
King and queen of Sparta. They welcomed Telemachus when he come to ask about his father's whereabouts.
Menelaos and Helen
The old loyal nanny of Odysseus and Penelope. She recognized her master when she washed Od's feet.

A giant water creature located beneath a fig tree on the opposite shore from her partner Scylla.
Charybdis
Female monster that is immortal. She can't be defeated. 6 heads from long necks that ate 6 crewman

A male messenger God. Often guide travelers to their destination.
