"Will all my great Neptune's ocean wash this blood clean from my hands?" Act 2,Scene 2
Blood is a symbol of
guilt
in play.
Literally

can was his blood of his hands
But his guilt conscience he can still see it and nothing is able to help him remove it.
"Let the earth hide thee. Thy bones are marrowless, thy blood is cold.
Thou hast no speculation in those eyes which thou doust glare with. Act 3, Scene 6.
Macbeth
is horrified by
Banquo's
ghost
and how gruesome it is
Reminds him of the horrible
crime
he has committed against his friend
The ghost also haunts him at his banquet.
It stops him from being able to enjoy his power that he used to commit these crimes.
"Sinful Macduff, they were all struck for thee!" Act 4, Scene 3, Macduff.

Shakespeare
shows good guilt within MacDuff's character.
He feels genuine remorse but does not lose control like
Macbeth
does.

Lady Macbeths
madness has caused her guilt.
Childlike rhymes to show her broken mental state and the blood she imagines on her hand continues the theme that Macbeth began earlier of
murder.
Thane of fife, Lady Macduff.
